Employee Safety

There is nothing more important than making sure our employees arrive home safely each day.  

This is why Guinea Alumina is driving a safety culture predicated on Zero Harm. A priority has been to deliver contractor safety and defensive driver training and we adhere to BHP Billiton HSEC Standards and Fatal Risk Control Protocols to manage our safety risks.

This is evidence of our commitment to continuous improvement in safety management. Throughout construction and into operations, safety processes and practises will be regularly evaluated to ensure our safety management is world-class.

Community Safety

Our Zero Harm philosophy extends beyond our construction site and into our local communities.

Guinea Alumina will develop and implement policies and awareness campaigns on road traffic and railway safety to increase education amongst the general public.
