At Guinea Alumina Corporation we acknowledge and embrace the lead role we can play in creating a sustainable operation for our Shareholders, and sustainable benefits for the people for Guinea.

We aspire to deliver best practice health, safety, environment and community management, and have adopted the proven and highly regarded policies and standards of BHP Billiton and the International Finance Corporation in these areas. Programs within our sustainable development framework are aligned with international standards, including the UN Millennium Development Goals.

In our project execution and operations we will maintain management systems for sustainable development that demand the highest standards and ensure we:
