Key to the project and operations success will be the ability to transition to a locally managed operation in the short-term.  To achieve this, participation of local Guineans in the workforce will be encouraged from the start of project execution.

Guinea Alumina Corporation is committed to a major training effort, with a primary focus on safe work practices and development of skills. 

The diversity of positions and personnel employed during construction and operations means that English, French and bilingual language skills will be required at various levels within the organisation.
