About Guinea Alumina: Overview

At Guinea Alumina Corporation we aim to develop a sustainable mining operation which delivers lasting value to our shareholders and to the people of Guinea.

GAC is an organisation owned by four shareholders, established to build and operate a bauxite mine and alumina refinery in the Republic of Guinea, West Africa.

As the owners of the Guinea Alumina Project, we will oversee the development of one of the most exciting new projects in Guinea – the largest Greenfield alumina development in the world.

Our company offices are based in Conakry, Guinea and Brisbane, Australia. Our site offices in Guinea are located in the port town of Kamsar and near Tinguilinta, 44 km from Sangarédi.         

The organisation has evolved in ownership and structure since it was first established.
